Classic Oak Pasture Fence – Traditional Class in Solid Oak
Timeless oak fence with through-post rails
The Classic Oak Pasture Fence brings together the authentic charm of traditional craftsmanship with the strength and durability of solid European oak. The system with through-post rails and chamfered heads creates a stable, clean and stylish paddock fence that suits horse paddocks, rural gardens, yards and outdoor spaces perfectly.
Oak is among the highest durability classes and is therefore excellent at resisting weather, wind and intensive use. The Classic version combines the robust character of oak with a traditional look that lasts for generations.
Strong system with through-post rails
Unlike the Budget version, where the rails are screwed onto the posts, on the Classic Oak the planks run through the posts. This not only gives an elegant, traditional look but also extra strength. The joints stay firmly in place, even under intensive use or contact with animals.
The chamfered head prevents rainwater from pooling on the post top – a detail that extends the lifespan and shows the natural greying to its best advantage. The result is a fence that is perfectly balanced both functionally and aesthetically.

Durable and low-maintenance
Oak is naturally rich in tannins that protect the wood against insects and fungi. No chemical treatment is needed and the natural structure is preserved. Over time the wood greys to an elegant silver-grey tint, without any loss of strength.
For extra protection we recommend using Postsavers at the base of the posts. These shrink sleeves prevent rot from ground contact. 👉 With Postsavers your oak posts easily last 20 years or longer – a durable investment with minimal maintenance costs.
Length per section
For the Classic Oak Pasture Fence, one section measures approximately 2.5 metres between post centres. That is the optimal spacing to anchor the rails firmly without sagging, while keeping material use efficient.
👉 Worked example: A 25-metre fence consists of roughly 10 sections of 2.5 m, each with a start and end post. This makes it easy to calculate how many posts and rails you need for the length of your terrain.
Gates and gate posts available

This creates a harmonious result with a sturdy, stylish entrance for vehicles, horses or livestock. The gates are available as a separate product in various widths and finishes.
