The choice of timber determines not only the appearance but also the lifespan of a building. That is why we work exclusively with three carefully selected wood types: European oak, exceptionally strong, durable and ageing elegantly; Douglas fir, warm in colour, naturally resistant and ideal for contemporary designs; and pine, budget-friendly, light and versatile.
All our timber comes from sustainably managed forests and meets strict ecological standards. In this way we actively help preserve natural ecosystems and secure a healthy future for people and nature.
On every project we aim for a minimal ecological footprint without compromising on quality or aesthetics. Honest materials, local craftsmanship and a conscious approach to sustainability form the foundation of Solid Wood Builds.
