On the Premium Oak Pasture Fence the rails run through the posts. This through-post system creates an exceptionally stable construction that withstands pressure from horses or other livestock, while giving a refined, craftsman-built appearance.

For an even longer lifespan we recommend using Postsavers at the base of the posts. These protective sleeves prevent rot from ground contact and can extend the life of your oak fence to more than 20 years. Other dimensions can be produced to order.

Length per section
As with all our models, one section measures approximately 2.5 metres between post centres. This spacing offers the perfect balance between strength, aesthetics and efficient use of material.
👉 Worked example: A 25-metre fence consists of roughly 10 sections of 2.5 m, each with a start and end post. This makes it easy to calculate how many posts and rails you need for your project.
